MCW was contracted to provide audiovisual (AV) design and install services for the LeClairRyan office build-out of the top 3 floors of the SunTrust building in Richmond, Virginia. We worked with the LeClairRyan team to build a functional, efficient system that extends from the pantry to training rooms, medium and small-sized conference rooms, and huddle lounges.
When working with differently sized meeting spaces, it’s important to understand that each requires a different level of AV functionality. Using our expertise, MCW made sure to find out the client’s business use for each type of room and provide multiple options to meet their needs. Our options not only addressed basic needs but also offered elevated functionality with more suitable system components to the space.
Our solution provides LeClairRyan the ability to video teleconference (VTC) in the main boardroom, expanding their collaborative capabilities. New ceiling speakers were installed for presentation material playback as well as teleconferencing audio. Additionally, the speakers are zoned to support a divisible room if the client chooses to restructure later. The system is control by a wall-mounted touch panel.
The smaller conference rooms were equipped with displays and cabling for simple presenting and are scalable to allow for VTC capabilities in the future.
The new office build-out was designed by OPX and Cornerstone Architects (FF&E); MCW is proud to have been part of it.
