MCW provided Brown Advisory with AV technology turnkey design and build, IT cabling and security systems for their office spaces in Maryland and New York. Our AV design included multiple 60” commercial-grade LED displays in linear dual display configurations in their conference rooms as well as inputs capable of connecting a user laptop with a digital HDMI output. Additionally, MCW installed a video teleconferencing (VTC) codec and a new tabletop VoIP conferencing phone for audio conferencing. This VTC codec was configured with multi-site connection capability, premium resolution, and dual display options with a new high definition PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) camera installed on the front wall between the new displays.
Additionally, MCW furnished and installed a combination fingerprint and face recognition reader on the server room door of Brown’s Maryland office to replace an existing proximity card reader and integrate it with the existing S2 Security Access Control System. The new biometric reader was connected to the owner’s network and software was installed to enroll the fingerprint and facial algorithms of all personnel who are authorized to access the server room.
Lastly, we provided training for these systems on how to use the new teleconferencing solutions as well as how to enroll new users into the biometric scanning system.
