National Milk Producers Federation
MCW was awarded the contract for audiovisual (AV) solution installation for the National Milk Producers Federation’s (NMPF) new office in Arlington, Virginia in June of 2016.
Working with Cresa Project Management, we provided NMPF with the AV required for multiple conference rooms of varying sizes including a divisible multi-purpose space (pictured above)
as well as the reception area, pantry and executive offices.
The divisible conference space was equipped with two 80” commercial-grade flat panel displays as well as switching and distribution systems that will manage and route all video signaling from
source to display. MCW also installed hanging ceiling microphones and loudspeakers to support conferencing and program audio. All systems within the office space are controlled with wireless
touch screen controllers. The divisible space is also equipped with a new partition sensor to automatically identify the divisible status of the rooms and programmatically allow/restrict access to
system functions accordingly.
Additionally, MCW installed a web-based video teleconferencing (VTC) system in the medium-sized conference room using a soft codec appliance and a USB web camera mounted above the display to connect to a laptop using a video hub. This system will be flexible and scalable as it natively supports Microsoft Lync, Skype for Business and all major SIP platforms.
